Cindy Streett named Product Owner for ACS

In a previous post, The ACS Technologies R&D Team is Expanding, I listed a new position in R&D called Product Owner.  I’m excited to announce that Cindy Streett has accepted this position for the ACS/Access ACS family of products.
The duties of the Product Owner are critical to the success of implementing Agile/Scrum processes in development.  As we move the ACS, Access ACS, and Facility Scheduler teams to Agile, Cindy will be a key leader.  She will ensure that we build the right products in the right sequence, and that the vision for our products best represents the needs of our clients.
Cindy will officially start in the new role on October 4, but has already begun to transition from her current duties as Enterprise Client Research Manager.  Many of you know Cindy as she has been a road warrior in the last year doing in depth field studies.
Cindy brings a unique set of experiences and talents that make her an excellent fit.  She previously spent 10 years in accounting and 4 years in internal auditing as a Certified Internal Auditor.  After time in accounting, she switched career paths when she moved to Silicon Valley to become a Customer Program Manager for a new Internet company.  In 2003, after 7 years working in several start-ups in areas such as Web Design, Software Implementation, and Business Analysis, she was hired at ACS Technologies to help bring products to the web.
While at ACS, Cindy has had several roles including Product Manager for Access ACS, Implementation Project Manager, and Enterprise Client Research Manager.
