A Message to the Church

A message to the Church, our ministry partners:

With the recent tragic events going on in our country, most notably the horrific and senseless killing of George Floyd, we’re compelled again to face and fight the injustices occurring in our world. We want to remind all the churches that we have the honor of partnering with that we stand with you in agreement. We firmly believe that discrimination, racism, and prejudice of any kind are an affront to the finished work of Christ on the cross.

These beliefs are from truths found in prominent Scriptures, such as:

  • Our foundational worth established in Genesis 26-27 that we’ve all been “created in His image.”
  • The unifying proclamation in Galatians 3:28 that there’s “neither Jew nor Greek, but that we are all one in Christ.”
  • The declaration of love in John 3:16, “for so God loved the world.”
  • The realization of our value in Romans 8:29 that we are the Imago Dei (image of God) and all brothers and sisters of the Son of God.

If we look at Christ’s life as our guide, or even ultimately, if we look at Jesus as the model for our own lives, then we know that racism in all its forms cannot be tolerated and these injustices cannot stand.

Church leaders and ministry partners, we know you’re on the frontlines of this right now, and we thank God that you’re being the salt and the light that God has called you to be. What we want you to know in this difficult time is that we’re here for you, we stand with you, we’re praying for you. We know that our God is a God of mercy and of justice and that somehow, someway God will get the glory through this if we remain faithful to the commandment Jesus gave us to love one another as He loved us.

We’re standing with you as a company and as individuals. We vow to do our part professionally and personally to honor God in service to you and in loving all people, treating all with the respect and dignity a creation of the Lord deserves. With you, we claim Micah 6:8 as a guidepost for all.

“Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.”

May God bless you and keep you in the days ahead.
